I am Simon James and am a qualified International Mountain Leader with many years of experience as a high altitude mountaineer and trail runner. My passion for the outdoors started from a young age growing up in Gower, South Wales near the Brecon Beacons.In the summer I am based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains, near to Chamonix. Apart from being able to speak French, I also know the local area extremely well. For the rest of the year I am based in the Chilterns, near London, leading walking tours. Memberships: Austrian Mountaineering Club; British Mountaineering Council; The Explorer’s Club; Mountain Training Association; BAIML; London School of Sports Massage; Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage.
